Omya Flows

An independently conceived and developed platform for creating, practicing, sharing and discovering yoga.

Concept, design & development — Tayfun Delice

OMYA Flows began with a simple question: could digital tools support yoga practice without reducing it to a collection of workouts?

What began as a way to create and organize yoga flows gradually developed into a broader environment for practitioners and instructors — combining creation, practice, discovery and community.

DISCOVER — Asana Atlas

A visual way to explore yoga beyond names and lists.

The Asana Atlas brings the growing library of yoga poses into a single interactive space.
More than 195 asanas can be explored by category, level, suitability and other characteristics,
with detailed information and visual references for each pose.

The idea was to make discovery itself part of the experience — allowing practitioners and
instructors to browse, compare and encounter poses they might not otherwise have considered.

Selected asanas can be collected in the Idea Board and carried directly into the process
of creating a new flow.

CREATE — Flow Maker

A space for turning an idea into a yoga sequence.

At the heart of OMYA Flows is the Flow Maker: a visual environment for building yoga
sequences from individual asanas, breathing exercises and other practice elements.

Rather than beginning with a predetermined routine, the user can experiment — selecting,
arranging and refining a sequence until it becomes their own.

Flows can remain personal or become something to teach and share with others.

SAVE — Idea Board

Collect inspiration. Build ideas.

The Idea Board sits between discovery and creation. While exploring the Asana Atlas,
poses can be collected without having to decide immediately where they belong.

Selections can then be reordered, developed and transferred into the Flow Maker when
an idea begins to take shape.

It is intentionally closer to a sketchbook than a conventional favourites list:
a temporary space for possibilities.

SHARE — Flows

A sequence does not have to end with the person who created it.

Flows can be kept private, shared directly with others or made available to the wider
OMYA community.

This turns the Flow Maker from an individual creation tool into a way of exchanging
practice and ideas. A sequence created by one person can become the starting point
for another person’s experience.

TEACH CLASSES & EVENTS

From the digital space back into the physical one.

Classes and events extend OMYA beyond individual screen-based practice. Instructors
and studios can present their activities, while practitioners can discover opportunities
to practice with others.

Location-based discovery helps connect people with classes, workshops and events both
nearby and further afield.

The digital platform becomes a point of departure rather than the destination.

CONNECT — Community

Yoga is personal, but it does not have to be solitary.

The community layer connects practitioners, instructors and studios through profiles,
circles, classes and shared activity.

Rather than building a conventional social feed around yoga, the intention is to make
connection emerge from practice itself — discovering an instructor, joining a class,
following someone’s work or simply finding people with similar interests.

PRACTICE — Practice Studio

A created flow becomes a lived practice.

Practice Studio transforms a sequence into a guided session. Timing, transitions,
breathing cues and voice guidance allow a flow to be practiced without constantly
returning to the screen.

The aim is not to replace the instructor or the awareness of one’s own body, but to
let the technology recede once the practice begins.

Different viewing and guidance options allow the experience to adapt to the way each
person prefers to practice.

TEACH — Instructor Tools

The same tools used to create a personal practice can become tools for teaching.

Instructors can create flows, organize classes and share sequences with students while
maintaining their own profile and teaching identity within the platform.

OMYA Flows was designed around the idea that instructors should not simply provide
content to a platform. They should be able to use it as a creative space of their own —
to build, teach and develop their practice with others.

MY OMYA

A personal space within a much larger system.

My OMYA brings together the things that belong to each user’s journey: created flows,
classes, shared material, favourites, saved events and other personal activity.

As the platform grows, this area acts as its counterweight — keeping a complex ecosystem
centred around the individual using it.

EXPLORE — Yoga Games

Learning can also happen through play.

Yoga Games explores a more playful way of becoming familiar with poses, sequences
and the structure of a flow.

The first experiment, Flow Puzzle, turns an existing yoga sequence into something
that can be rearranged and reconstructed. It introduces another way of engaging with
yoga knowledge — through observation, memory and experimentation rather than
instruction alone.
